Dreaming Eloise

    I recently sent out a blast email to ladies I've met during the first year of launching my novel. I have been so excited to get some responses back, and it is difficult for me to explain how much it means to me when I hear that people enjoyed the book! But as Allison and I get ready to really dig into the movie project, I really need your help! 

   Don't be afraid of this blog! It's easy to post your ideas - just click on the "comments" link at the end of my post, and then type up your thoughts about which actor or actress should play each character from my novel! That's all there is to it! Who knows where this will all lead, but anyone who wants to be a part of something really special just has to pipe up!! We're listening!

A Note from Sonja...

  Thanks for stopping by to blog a bit about Eloise Butts, and her upcoming adventures as a movie heroine! Clearly, it is one of the most exciting things in the world for me to have one of the characters I created in my head migrate from the pages and chapters of a novel onto the silver screen of a movie theater! I had the best time creating Eloise and all of the characters in Hurricane Season! Each character actually felt like a friend to me as I worked on the book, so it is important to me to make sure the casting of the movie is spot on! So I want to thank you in advance for your help! I want to honor my readers by including them in this process, so please don't be afraid to tell us who you think needs to be in each role. To help trigger your thoughts, here are just a handful of the more relevant characters in the novel:

Eloise Butts (Who do you think could play a 33-year-old virgin and still be as cool as Elle?)
